We're Josh and Chris — two guys in Birmingham who've been rolling dice our whole lives. We build software for a living, and we've spent decades on both sides of the screen.
Somewhere along the way, the people who make this hobby magic — the Game Masters — got treated like the least important part of it. The big platform takes 15% of a GM's rate, takes a cut of their tips, and pays out slow. Run games for six months and you might clear less than the coffee shop down the street. Meanwhile players still can't find a game — or a group to play it with.
That's backwards. The GM is the craftsperson. The whole thing runs on them.
So we're building the platform we always wished existed. Summon takes nothing from Game Masters — you keep 100% of your price and 100% of your tips. We only make money when you book a game, so our whole job is simple: help you fill your table and get paid like the pro you are.

We're genuinely grateful to the platforms that opened this category — they proved people will pay to game together and put pro GMing on the map. We just have a different vision of who the money should serve.
Most marketplaces take their cut from the provider and ratchet it up once everyone's locked in — rideshare went from 20% to over 40%, and the going rate to book a GM online runs about 15% from the GM plus a player fee on top. We built Summon the other way: you set your price and keep all of it — and 100% of every tip, too. We never take a cent of either. Players add a flat 7.77%, lucky sevens — pre-committed, and it never goes up. We grow on volume, not on squeezing the people who run the games.
